Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst – Advanced  for our client at Research  at 366 N Church Street, Spartanburg, SC.

• Business Analyst – Advanced to support Spartanburg County’s Cybersecurity Program and Documentation Recovery initiative.
• This is a new contract role focused on addressing documentation gaps, reducing reliance on institutional knowledge, improving operational resilience, and establishing repeatable and maintainable documentation practices.
• The Business Analyst will serve as the discovery and analysis lead for the Documentation Recovery initiative, working closely with IT leadership, technical subject-matter experts, and County stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

1. 10+ years of demonstrated Business Analysis experience in complex IT or technology environments.
2. Strong experience with requirements elicitation, interviewing, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
3. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365, including:
   • Microsoft Word
   • Microsoft Excel
   • Microsoft PowerPoint
   • Microsoft Teams
   • Microsoft SharePoint
   • Related collaboration tools
4. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visio for process mapping, workflow documentation, and technical/business diagrams.
5. Experience working with technical SMEs across infrastructure, applications, service delivery, cybersecurity, or related IT disciplines.
6. Excellent written, verbal, organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
7. Ability to analyze complex or undocumented processes and transform institutional knowledge into clear, structured documentation.
