Excelraise, LLC is seeking a GIS/ Technical Specialist- Junior for our client at Research  at Century Center, Building B 1020 Birch Ridge Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610

Note:
Looking for a local Triangle, NC candidate, preferably within one hour of the Raleigh STOC, with strong experience in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, web mapping, cartography, Survey123, Field Maps, and Experience Builder. Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, Arcade/Python, ETL, and Public Safety/Transportation GIS is preferred. The candidate must have strong communication skills, be able to translate business requirements into GIS solutions, provide a mandatory original GIS work sample, and be available for onsite and emergency support when required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update GIS data, geometry, events, and attributes.
• Perform GIS QA/QC and ensure data accuracy.
• Create and update maps, dashboards, and GIS applications.
• Gather requirements and translate business needs into GIS solutions.
• Support Arcade coding, Python scripting, and ETL processes.
• Provide GIS troubleshooting and user support.
• Support STOC and TM&S operations, including incident response and routing needs.
• Document GIS workflows, requirements, and progress.
• Collaborate with senior GIS staff and participate in STOC meetings.
