About Client: The NC Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) is the administrative agency for the Judicial Branch. The NCAOC provides statewide support services for the courts, including court programs and management services, information technology, human resources, financial, legal and legislative, research and planning, court services, and purchasing services.
North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts (NCAOC) has an opening for Audio Video Technician at there 901 Corporate Center Drive Office in Raleigh. This is 4+ Month Contract Job. The Selected candidate will be working onsite as the whole team is already back in the office. Candidate will be responsible for organizing and installing media equipment such as projectors, microphones, video monitors, and soundboards.

NOTE: Client is Offering a Pay rate range of $33/Hr. – $43/Hr. Depend on Individual experience.

NOTE:  If you are a current NC State Government employee, you will not be considered for a temporary assignment. Excelraise LLC cannot accommodate dual employment.
3-5 years of Experience required in: Live Sound Mixing and Video equipment, PowerPoint and presentation software, Audio-video support experience, Experience supporting organizational conferences and in person trainings.
Mode of Interview: Either Webcam Interview or In Person
Audio Video Technician Responsibilities:

o Ability to travel overnight 3-4 nights at a time.
o Meeting with Event Coordinators to discuss audio and video requirements based on conference agenda.
o Communicating venue arrangements according to layout diagrams.
o Familiar with Hotel Banquet Manager functions and able to read and understand Event Orders
o Laying electrical and sound cables in a logical and safe manner.
o Setting up and installing microphones, video monitors, projectors, speakers, and video cameras.
o Conducting sound, visual, and performance quality checks on AV equipment.
o Operating sound and visual equipment during live events, including audio mixers, VDA, and live production switchers.
o Maintaining strong customer relations.
o Disassembling audio and visual equipment and packing up after the event.

 Audio Video Technician Requirements:

o Bachelor’s degree in sound engineering or a similar field or relevant experience working as an AV technician.
o Typical Experience: 36-60 months
o In-depth knowledge of live sound mixing and video equipment.
o Familiarity with computers and IP Networking Systems.
o Familiarity with PowerPoint and presentation software.
o Excellent troubleshooting skills.
o Detail oriented.
o Ability to lift equipment weighing 50lbs
o Good communication and interpersonal skills.
o Professionalism displayed at all times.
