Excelraise, LLC is a rapidly growing full service IT solutions integrator and talent management company headquartered in Denver, CO. Our valued client*s includes fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies.

Currently we are looking for a qualified individual to work as a Network Operations Center Technician (Night Shift Position) with our direct client in Clemson, SC.

***This is a Onsite Position***Night shift position***Hours are 6 PM – 6 AM, this includes weekends and holidays***

Scope of the project:

This will be a 12-month contract working at the Clemson university information technology center with the possibility of extending 36-months.

Daily duties / responsibilities:

  • Monitors, tests, maintains and repairs network and infrastructure elements for Clemson CCIT.
  • Monitors Clemson network, server, and application elements, resolve incidents and service requests and/or consult with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Applies simple state-of-the-art technology to meet and improve network control center.
  • Configure network and system resources, and maintain corresponding system records and documentation. Provides tier ii support as per SME agreements. Performs periodic maintenance and monitoring of computer systems. Performs pre-configured port activations on network switches.
  • Prepares and reviews documentation for use in operations for training and knowledge base. Participates in training and cross training for the tier ii. . Provides customer service for all information and/or telecommunication network systems support areas.
  • Monitors mainframe, applications and batch processing. Responds to issues, alerts, incidents, tickets and resolve incidents and service requests and/or consult with the subject matter expert team for incident resolution. Meets agreed SLA time requirements.

  • Understanding of monitoring tools (SPLUNK, SOLARWINDS)
  • Microsoft office suite
