Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Business Analyst – Project Lead for our client in 1201 Main Street Suite 600, Columbia, SC.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with the State Functional Manager and Business Analysts to identify areas for
improvement within PACSS and deliver practical, actionable recommendations. - Analyze existing workflows to uncover inefficiencies and pain points.
- Design optimized workflows for complex processes in alignment with South Carolina business
requirements. - Propose enhanced functionality for complex financial activities within PACSS.
- Design self-guiding workflows, including guided navigation, tooltips, and contextual assistance, for critical areas such as order entry and financial adjustments.
- Design user-friendly features such as step-by-step wizards, contextual help, and automated
guidance to improve usability and reduce training needs. - Conduct stakeholder interviews as needed to gain a comprehensive understanding of South
Carolina business processes. - Collaborate with other Business Analysts to develop comprehensive test scenarios, test cases,
and provide general assistance during testing activities. - Participate in regular functional meetings focused on user-reported issues, enhancements, and
bug triage to review progress, discuss solutions, and align on priorities.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst
- 5+ years of experience working with Child Support systems
- 5+ years of experience working with financial operations such as receipts, distribution, disbursements, recoupment, and/or reconciliation
- 5+ years of experience with workflow design and system enhancement
- 5+ years of experience conducting Stakeholder Interviews
- 5+ years with SQL Querying
- BS Degree, Preference given to Finance or IT degree
