Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Machinist for our client at Research at CA75 San Diego-7130 Miramar Road, 7130 Miramar Road, Suite 100B, San Diego California 92121.

Machinist 1 to support our machining department. As a member of the machining department you’ll get to waterjet machine composites. This position will serve on-site at our San Diego structures site.
Position is for 2nd Shift. Hours: 01:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Basic Qualifications for Machinist 1

Able to understand machining theory and strategy
Must have experience with setting up and running Flow waterjet.
Able to understand and interrogate mechanical drawings and tolerances.
Ability to use common machine shop hand and measurement tools.
Self-motivation, able to accomplish a high level of work.
Team player, actively participating in continuous improvement projects with coworkers.
Demonstrate high skill level with the desire for continuous learning.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Ability to work with limited supervision including using sound judgment to execute independent decisions and departmental initiatives.
Adept at reading, writing, and interpreting technical documentation and procedure manuals.
Highly self-motivated and directed.
Keen attention to detail.
Skilled at working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to change.
