Excelraise, LLC is seeking a Systems Software Programmer – Consultant (12836) for our client in 300A Outlet Pointe Blvd, Columbia, SC 29210

 

This role requires extensive experience with VB.NET, SQL, and State Government Tax Systems, along with the ability to support mission-critical applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational excellence.

Note: This is a rebid position, and the current incumbent is expected to reapply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise tax and revenue applications using VB.NET and SQL Server.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on application design and best practices.
  • Support and troubleshoot production applications, databases, and system issues.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform application upgrades, enhancements, maintenance, and system optimization activities.
  • Ensure application availability, reliability, performance, and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
  • Maintain technical documentation and support software deployment activities.
  • Participate in application support and operational activities within a secure government environment.
